James is a documentary filmmaker looking into the town’s ‘haunted’ landmarks – viral ghost stories from Lex’s anonymous vlog. When he shows up at the quiet bookshop Lex works in, she can’t resist getting involved in his research.

She probably shouldn’t be leading him astray with lies about all the ghostly ghouls in town, but if it means a few spooks to help buy her dream bookshop then why not? After all, James’s stay is temporary and her career dreams come first.

But as they spend more time together, Lex realises she’s falling for James.

Worse, her tricks may cost him much more than a spooky documentary.
